The standard of work from Del-York International continues to grow exponentially with each project we handle. This was no different for the Golden Jubilee celebration of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN @50) wherein we served as the official Event Management, PR & Branding team.
The landmark anniversary was in three phases which began with prequel roundtable events MAN held in September and early October 2021 respectively and featured top industry experts and economic giants from various industries like Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Mr. Amir Kamel, Ms. Amina J Mohammed, and Mr. Carl Cruz —All power brokers, under one platform to discuss economic transformation in Nigeria and position African Industries for Economic Transformation and Continental Free Trade.
The last phase of the celebration started Monday, 25th October 2021 in the beautiful city of Abuja. The event also featured a number of industry experts, economic leaders as well as major stakeholders in the manufacturing and industrialization sector of the Nigerian economy. It was a befitting avenue for the display of indigenous products from veritable Nigerian companies.
Our editorial team interviewed random guests to get their opinions on the coolest exhibition booths at the venue using design and space as the main metrics (and we agree with them) –Here are the coolest and most creative booths at the MAN@50 “Made In Nigeria’ Expo 2021:
5. Bank of Industry
Bank of Industry is the oldest and largest Development Finance Institution currently operating in Nigeria which provides financial assistance for the establishment of large, medium, and small projects in the country. To showcase its rich Nigerian legacy, the Bank of Industry opted for a classy and simple booth design.
💁🏽♀️💬💭: What we love the most about it is how the simple designs created an engaging and interactive space for the audience.
4. Greenville Liquefied Natural Gas Co.
Greenville Liquefied Natural Gas Co. Ltd. is in our top five for the best reasons. The leading pioneer in the private sector for LNG production and industrial domestic consumption in the country made a bold statement at the event with the eye-catching dichromatic color and product concept.
💁🏽♀️💬💭: We are yet to get over Greenvile’s booth experience -If we had to describe the booth into two words, it would be ‘memorable’ and ‘distinctive’ because of its elegant interface and the complimentary white lightning.
3. Dangote Salt
Dangote Salt is a subsidiary of Dangote Group Industries -a diversified and integrated conglomerate. While other sectors under the Group had their booths at the event, Dangote Salt is our favorite out of them all.
💁🏽♀️💬💭: For us, it’s the colors, style of the design, and the consistent typography of the booth that made it stand out.
2. Paras Energy
Paras Energy is an indigenous privately-owned energy provider connected to the country’s national grid. Their corner might not seem extravagant, but it is ‘beautifully’ creative. The booth was well-positioned in a large space that allows people to interact instantly with their products.
💁🏽♀️💬💭: We love the way the clean-cut and professional design conveys their brand personality and added a touch of modernity to the space, which we believe, attracted many guests at the event. However, everyone agreed that implementing more interactive brand elements would have made more magic.
1. GAC Motor
Say Hello to the coolest booth at the “Made in Nigeria” Expo 2021!
GAC Motor, under CIG Motors Co. is a notable car manufacturing and distribution company in Nigeria. GAC Motor flawlessly showed off its product with this visually aesthetically pleasing design; the white color and open space enabled guests to interface directly with the cars.
💁🏽♀️💬💭: The booth gives off the ultimate ultra-modern vibe and we are intrigued by how they were able to communicate their brand through a consistent display, visuals, and graphics coupled with interactive elements that make the experience unforgettable.
This booth design was done by Yours Truly 😉
